Short, and mostly about the limits of what Anywhen can promise.
Prices are estimates, not quotes
Every figure on Anywhen — daily costs, ground estimates, flight ranges, budget totals — is a typical range for that place at that travel level. None of it is a live price, an offer or a quote, and none of it is binding on any provider. Always confirm the actual price with the airline, hotel or operator before booking. If a number here and a number on a provider's own site disagree, the provider is right.
Destination data can be wrong
Climate figures are 30-year normals, which describe a typical month and cannot predict a particular one. Activities close, events move, costs drift and descriptions age. We correct errors when they are reported — write to hello@travelanywhen.com — but we cannot warrant that everything on the site is accurate at the moment you read it. Decisions that cost money should be checked against the provider first.
The game pays nothing
Stamps, marks, sigils, collections and rankings have no monetary value of any kind. There is no cash, no credit, no voucher, no discount and no prize attached to any of them, and none can be bought, sold or transferred. It is a record of where you have been, and nothing more.
Faked check-ins
Check-ins are verified on the server against timing and plausibility. Accounts that fake check-ins are removed from the rankings and their entries stop appearing to other travellers. Reviews and named venues require a verified check-in at that destination, which is why a place only becomes publicly named after independent travellers have actually been there.

Anywhen earns a commission when you book through some of our links. It never changes what you pay, and it never changes which destinations we show you. Any contract for a trip is between you and the provider; Anywhen is not a party to it and cannot amend, cancel or refund it.
As is
Anywhen is provided as is, without warranties, and may change or be unavailable at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the site or from decisions made on the basis of its estimates. Please use it as a starting point for research, not as a guarantee.
